DATA TRACKING

Cookie Policy

Last Updated: June 22, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Prozinix Technologies uses cookies, local storage, and similar web tracking tools across our websites, cloud dashboards, and our flagship product, the Prozinix Restaurant Management System (RMS).

1. Understanding Cookies & Local Storage

Cookies are small text documents stored on your mobile device or browser when visiting a website. In addition to standard cookies, our platforms utilize Local Storage and Session Storage. These are secure, built-in browser technologies that store application state variables locally on your device to ensure smooth workflow navigations.

2. Operational Usage in Prozinix RMS

Our flagship Restaurant Management System relies on cookies and local storage to perform core contactless ordering tasks:

  • Table QR-Code Self-Ordering: When a customer scans a table QR code, we store session keys (such as Table ID, Restaurant ID, and active Cart Items) in your browser's local storage. This ensures your food choices are preserved if you refresh the menu page or temporarily lose internet access. These keys are strictly functional and clear automatically upon checkout.
  • POS Login Persistence: For restaurant managers and billing cashiers, we place secure session tokens to keep you logged into the POS desktop interface during shifts and to cache print settings for local thermal receipt printers.

3. Types of Cookies We Deploy

  • Essential Cookies (First-party): Crucial for the system to process UPI billing calculations, manage active table order tickets, and verify user sessions. Disabling these cookies will prevent QR menus and POS billing systems from operating properly.
  • Performance & Telemetry Cookies: We track anonymous page views, screen load speeds, and error logs using light telemetry frameworks. This data helps us optimize page rendering speeds and trace KOT display connection drops.
  • Preference Cookies: These remember your preferred settings, such as dark theme preferences or dashboard layout grids.

4. Controlling Your Preferences

Most modern web browsers allow you to block, manage, or delete cookies via their security settings panel. However, please note that blocking essential cookies will make it impossible to add dishes to your digital dining cart or place orders via the table QR-code scan menu.

For details on cookie options, check your browser's documentation (e.g., Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Mozilla Firefox).

5. Policy Updates

We may periodically revise this policy to adapt to new web standards or security features. For any inquiries regarding our cookie configurations or data safety desk, reach out to us at:
